Hopwood Cabin arrived on Hopwood Park in September 2016,  purchased entirely with funds raised by The Friends of Hopwood Park.  In dry weather, it serves as a popular refreshment facility on Hopwood Park serving low cost drinks, snacks, ice cream from the local Birch Farm and daily specials.

It is operated by volunteers from The Friends of Hopwood Park and is open as much as possible weather permitting - opening times are posted on our Facebook page.

In 2017 we were pleased to receive funding from Tesco Bags of Help which has provided landscaping and new picnic benches around the Cabin.  The flower bed was provided  in partnership with St John's Scout Group  during  Community Scout Week 2016 and is now maintained by the Friends Group.  The Cabin garden is an ideal location to relax whilst the children play on the park, a place to take time out after a busy day or to meet friends.

All revenue from the Cabin is invested directly into Hopwood Park.
